Flexibility & Mobility Workshop

Flexibility & Mobility Workshop
Unlock a greater sense of ease, expression, and resilience in your body. This workshop introduces performers to the most effective stretching and mobility practices—methods that deliver profound results while honoring the artistry and demands of movement.
Participants will be guided through scientifically grounded techniques designed to expand range of motion, enhance postural awareness, and cultivate strength in the body’s fullest expressions. Together, we will explore:
• Breath & Posture: Diaphragmatic breathing and alignment strategies to anchor presence and open new space within the body.
• Neuro-Muscular Training: PNF, PAILS/RAILS, and contract-relax methods—tools to map the nervous system, build control, and safely extend range at the edge of movement.
• Mobility Through Movement: Dynamic patterns that reinforce joint stability, resilience, and freedom, giving dancers and performers greater confidence in motion.
• Partner Stretching: Assisted techniques to deepen stretches, discover new range, and explore the art of both giving and receiving support.
• Band Work: Practical resistance band methods to prime the body for performance and refine preparation rituals.
This workshop is open to dancers, actors, musicians, and anyone seeking to expand their expressive potential through the body. Teachers and coaches are especially welcome, as the material is both experiential and deeply transferable.
By the end of the session, participants will not only experience new freedom of movement, but also gain a deeper understanding of the principles behind these methods,
tools they can continue to use and share in their practice and performance.
