Sukhtian Foundation Performing Arts Scholarship
The Amman Institute of Performing Arts (AIPA) is pleased to announce the annual Sukhtian Foundation Performing Arts Scholarship.
This scholarship is available to adults seeking professional training for careers in theatre, television, and film through a two-year conservatory-style program. The scholarship is currently supporting three students at AIPA and will be offered to two new students to enroll in September 2026.
Eligibility Criteria
- The scholarship is open to students aged 18+ who are Jordanian citizens.
- The scholarship is awarded to applicants who demonstrate exceptional artistic potential, commitment to professional training, financial need, and a willingness to contribute positively to the AIPA community.
- Scholarships are awarded based on a combination of artistic merit, commitment to training, and financial need.
- Fluency in Arabic is mandatory.
Timeline
- The application period is from December 30, 2025 to January 17, 2026.
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an in-person audition and interview at AIPA on January 24, 2026.
- One candidate will be selected for the scholarship and notified on January 26, 2026.
- The scholarship recipient will join the Contemporary Dance Program starting January 31, 2026.

- Selection Discretion
The Amman Institute of Performing Arts (AIPA) reserves the full right to select the scholarship recipient based on internal evaluation criteria. The selection process will be at the sole discretion of the AIPA scholarship committee. - No Guarantee of Acceptance
Submission of an application does not guarantee an audition, interview, or scholarship award. All applications will be reviewed, but only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. - Non-Negotiable Outcomes
The outcome of the audition, interview, and final selection process is non-negotiable. AIPA is under no obligation to provide feedback or justification for its decisions. - Professional Conduct
Applicants and their guardians are expected to maintain respectful and professional conduct throughout the application and audition process. Any disrespectful or inappropriate behavior may result in immediate disqualification. - Accuracy of Information
All information submitted in the application must be truthful and accurate. Any false or misleading information may result in disqualification or withdrawal of the scholarship offer. - Privacy and Data Protection
All personal data and application materials submitted will be kept strictly confidential and used only for the purpose of evaluating applicants for this scholarship.
