Sukhtian Foundation Performing Arts Scholarship
The Amman Institute of Performing Arts (AIPA) is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the annual Sukhtian Foundation Performing Arts Scholarship.
This scholarship is open to adults seeking professional training for careers in theatre, television, and film through AIPA’s two-year Acting Program.
The scholarship will be awarded to
two new students enrolling in the Acting Program in
September 2026.
Eligibility Criteria
- The scholarship is open to applicants aged 18 and above.
- Scholarships are awarded based on artistic potential, commitment to professional training, and financial need.
- No prior acting experience is required.
- Applicants must be
fluent in Arabic.
Timeline
- The application period runs from August 5 to September 9, 2026.
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an in-person audition and interview at AIPA on September 13 -14, 2026.
- Two candidates will be selected to receive the scholarship by September 17, 2026.
- The scholarship recipients will join the Acting Program starting
September 20, 2026.

- Selection Discretion
The Amman Institute of Performing Arts (AIPA) reserves the full right to select the scholarship recipient based on internal evaluation criteria. The selection process will be at the sole discretion of the AIPA scholarship committee. - No Guarantee of Acceptance
Submission of an application does not guarantee an audition, interview, or scholarship award. All applications will be reviewed, but only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. - Non-Negotiable Outcomes
The outcome of the audition, interview, and final selection process is non-negotiable. AIPA is under no obligation to provide feedback or justification for its decisions. - Professional Conduct
Applicants and their guardians (if applicable) are expected to maintain respectful and professional conduct throughout the application and audition process. Any disrespectful or inappropriate behavior may result in immediate disqualification. - Accuracy of Information
All information submitted in the application must be truthful and accurate. Any false or misleading information may result in disqualification or withdrawal of the scholarship offer. - Privacy and Data Protection
All personal data and application materials submitted will be kept strictly confidential and used only for the purpose of evaluating applicants for this scholarship.
