Comedy & Improvisation short course is an energetic, hands-on training experience designed to unlock the actor’s spontaneity, sharpen comedic instincts, and expand their creative range. Through a dynamic blend of improvisation-based exercises and scene work, actors learn to trust their intuition, embrace risk and craft bold, playful and compelling comedic characters!

Actors will explore:

• The core improv principle of “Yes, And…” to build scenes with confidence and ease
• Comedic timing, rhythm and delivery
• Creating vibrant comedic characters through body, voice and imagination
• Physical comedy and expressive movement
• Ensemble and scene work 
• Using space, environment and relationships to ground comedy
  
  

The course culminates in a final scene showcase that highlights each actor’s growth, skill development, and creative evolution through scene work and improvisation!

This course is for more advanced actors and admission is interview-based.
